What do I do next after I add a property?

After you add your property on Apartments.com, you can list your rental for applications and screening or use our full suite of online rental tools or both!

Here are some tips on what to do next after you add your property on Apartments.com.

Once you've published your listing:

  • Our Customer Service team will give you a call to verify your listing and ensure that the advertisement is legitimate.
  • The listing will be live and valid on Apartments.com for 21 days.
  • To edit your listing, follow these steps: How do I refresh or edit a listing?
  • Receive applications & screen renters online by inviting renters to apply.

    Once you've selected to manage your property:

    • Get started on using Rental Tools by clicking on Create a Lease or Set Up Payments on your property.

    • Or access each Rental Tool feature by clicking Rental Tools on your left dashboard.
