How can I appear higher in the sort order?

Listings are sorted on Apartments.com depending on the listing type.

In the search results, paid ads appear first, followed by user-submitted listings utilizing the Rental Tool, and then all other user-submitted listings in a randomized order.  

Additionally, we now offer Premium packages for property owners and brokers who manage 1 to 4 units. With Premium, you'll get:

• Higher placement in search results
• A bigger, more prominent ad
• 30 days of higher visibility

You can upgrade to Premium when you use the Add a Listing feature, or if you've already added a listing, upgrade from your Properties page.
