AppFolio Online Scheduling Support

There are two main steps to enable prospect self-scheduled showings in AppFolio.

  1. Enable tour functionality
  2. Configure tour availability

Enable tour functionality

Note: Only users with permissions to modify company settings can enable tour functionality.

  1. Navigate to the AppFolio client portal and log in to your account.
  2. Select the Customer Service dropdown, select General Settings, and then select Showings Settings under the Leasing section.

  1. Configure your showings settings based on your preferences.
  2. Ensure the following checkboxes are enabled under the Prospect-Scheduled Showings section:

These settings allow renters to self-schedule tours from Apartments.com directly.

Configure tour availability

  1. Select the Customer Service dropdown and then select My Settings.

  1. Locate and select Set Showing Availability in the Tasks panel.

Your Showing Availability settings appear.

  1. Configure your tour availability.
    1. Select Connect under the Sync Personal Calendar section and then choose a calendar provider. Connecting your calendar with AppFolio provides up-to-date availability with prospective renters.
    2. Enter your availability for each day of the week in the Weekly Recurring Availability for Customer Service section.

Note: Once configured, this system will automatically add any showings that are assigned successfully to your personal calendar.

After you have completed the steps above, please contact feeds@apartments.com to begin the online scheduling integration process. This process takes up to 48 hours to complete, after which your scheduling information is syndicated.
