How do I connect my listing to Apartments.com using ShowMojo?
Connecting your listing refers to the process of syndication. Syndication is another way of describing the communication of listing information between a third-party service and Apartments.com. The following steps provide instructions for enabling the syndication of a property using ShowMojo.
Preparing your listing
- Navigate to the ShowMojo portal and log in to your account.
The ShowMojo Dashboard appears.
- Select the Settings tab in the top navigation.
The Settings page appears.
- Select the Listings tab in the left navigation.
- Locate the Optional Features section and enable the Properties feature by toggling the dropdown to will. Select Save after enabling this feature.
- Select the Properties tab in the top navigation and then select New Property.
Note: Your properties may have automatically been created if you are using AppFolio or Rent Manager integration and have enabled property importing within either service's Listing Import Settings. If your listings are currently listed here, you can skip creating a new property.
- Select through the tabs in the left navigation under New Property and then select which listing you would like to syndicate to Apartments.com. Select Save after entering your property information or selecting a listing.
Syndicating your listing
- Select the Help tab in the top navigation.
The Help page appears.
- Select the Submit a Ticket tab in the left navigation.
- In your ticket, request to have the Apartments.com multi-family feed added to your account.
ShowMojo configures your account after receiving your request.
- After your account has been configured, navigate to the Listing Sites page under the Settings tab and verify that the Apartments.com (Multi-Family) checkbox is enabled.
- Locate the Multi-Family Paid Listings section and enter your Company Name, Company Website, and select the addresses you would like to include in the Apartments.com multi-family feed.
- Select Save.
Your listing information is sent to Apartments.com for verification. This process takes 24 to 48 hours to complete, after which your listing information is syndicated.
