How do I connect my listing to Apartments.com using Yardi Breeze?

Connecting your listing refers to the process of syndication. Syndication is another way of describing the communication of listing information between a third-party service and Apartments.com. The following steps provide instructions for enabling the syndication of a property using Yardi Breeze.

Connecting Your Listing Using Yardi Breeze

  1. Navigate to the Breeze portal and log in to your account.
  2. Select the Properties dropdown and then select Properties.

The Properties page appears.

  1. Select the property you want to syndicate to Apartments.com.

The Property Information page for the property you selected appears.

  1. Select RentCafe in the left-navigation dashboard.

RentCafe fetches your property information and then your listing details appear.

  1. Locate the Settings section and then select the ILS Settings tab.

Your ILS Feed Settings appear.

  1. Select the pencil icon on the top-right of the ILS Feed Settings section.

ILS Feed Settings become editable.

  1. Locate the Apartments.com/Apartment Finder syndication options on the ILS feed table and select and enable one of the Include checkboxes.

Important: Enable the Residential row only if the property you are syndicating has one to three units. Otherwise, if your property has four or more units, enable the non-residential row.

  1. Select the Save button after you have selected one of the Apartments.com/Apartment Finder syndication options.
  2. After saving, contact feeds@apartments.com to request connection between your listing on Yardi Breeze and Apartments.com. Be sure to include both the property name and address of this listing in your initial email.

After Apartments.com receives your request, the feeds team starts enabling syndication. This process takes 24 to 48 hours to complete, after which your listing successfully connects. Uncheck the Include checkbox in your ILS Feed Settings to remove your listing from Apartments.com at any time.
