Enabling lead attribution requires initial configuration in Funnel before syndicating to Apartments.com. For more information on configuration instructions, refer to the sections below.

DNI Setup
Properties can set up DNI during the Funnel implementation process to ensure additional marketing attribution is captured as prospects navigate to your property website from another active lead source. For more information on DNI setup, refer to Funnel's developer site.
Note: If you need assistance entering the Funnel DNI script, contact Funnel support.
- Contact your Funnel Account Representative and request a DNI setup for the properties where you want to syndicate lead attribution to Apartments.com. Be sure to include the following information in your request:
- Property Names
- Funnel Lead Source Name
- PMS Lead Source Name
Funnel completes the initial DNI setup and sends a confirmation email with a custom API key.
- Enter a Funnel-provided DNI script into the footer on the properties where you want to enable lead attribution.
UTM Tracking
- Contact your Funnel Account Representative and request a UTM setup for the properties where you want to syndicate lead attribution to Apartments.com. Be sure to include the following information in your request:
- Property Names
- Apartments.com set as the UTM Lead Source Name
- Funnel Lead Source Name
- PMS Lead Source Name
Note: Your new UTM parameters should look similar to the following example:
www.websitename.com/?utm_source=apartments.com
- Email feeds@apartments.com and include the property website URL with the associated UTM parameter, tracking email, and phone number for each property you want to enable lead attribution for on Apartments.com.
After Apartments.com receives your request, the feeds team starts enabling lead attribution. This process takes 24 to 48 hours to complete, after which your lead attribution information syndicates.
