How do I enable fee transparency on Apartments.com using Funnel?

Prerequisites

  • A Funnel Online Leasing Product subscription is required. For more information on obtaining a subscription, contact your Funnel Account Representative.
  • An established connection between your listing information on Funnel and Apartments.com is required.

Enabling fee transparency

  1. Contact your Funnel Account Representative and submit a request for MITS 5.0 to be enabled on your Funnel account.
  2. After MITS 5.0 is enabled, contact feeds@apartments.com and include an excel spreadsheet with property names and full addresses of the properties where you would like to enable fee transparency.

After your Funnel fees are syndicated, any fees manually entered in Customer Portal will be removed, syndicated fees will populate your Fees & Policies page, and fee settings will be locked.

Important: To make changes to your fees moving forward, you will need to edit them in Funnel directly.

To remain compliant with emerging price transparency laws, affirm that your Advertised Rent Price is your Total Monthly Price and set your Standard Lease Term for Advertised Rent.
