How do I set up lead attribution using Rent Manager Express?

Navigate to the Rent Manager Express portal and log in to your account.

The Rent Manager Express dashboard appears.

Configuring User Defined Fields (UDFs)

1. Select the hamburger menu in the top navigation and then select Administration.
2. Locate and select User Defined Fields under the Customization section.

The User Defined Fields page appears.

3. Select Add UDF.
4. Create a new leasing agent UDF:
   1. Set Type to Property.
   2. Enter the leasing agent's name as the Field Name.
   3. Set Field Type to Text.
5. Select Save.

Your new leasing agent UDF is configured.

Setting up leasing agents

1. Select the hamburger menu in the top navigation and then select Administration.
2. Locate and select Users under the Users section.
3. Select the user account that you want to edit.

The User page appears.

4. Locate the Options section and then select the Sales Rep / Leasing Agent checkbox.

5. Select Save.

Your leasing agent is enabled.

Editing a Property UDF

1. Select the hamburger menu in the top navigation, select Rental Info, and then select Properties.
2. Select the property that you want to edit.

The Property page appears.

3. Navigate to the UDFS section and then select the Pop out button.
4. Enter the information from your leasing agent UDF and then select Save.

Editing a Prospect Leasing Agent

1. Select the hamburger menu in the top navigation, select Rental Info, and then select Prospects.
2. Select the prospect account that you want to edit.

The Prospect page appears.

3. Navigate to the Lead Information section, select your new leasing agent UDF from the dropdown, and then select Save.

Your new leasing agent is assigned.

Enabling lead attribution

1. Select the hamburger menu in the top navigation and then select Administration.

The Administration page appears.

2. Search for Lead in the search field and then select Lead Sources.

3. Select the Add Lead Source button on the top right of the page.

A lead source setup wizard begins.

4. Enter Apartments.com as your lead source during the configuration process and then select Save.

Your information is sent to Apartments.com for verification. This process takes 24 to 48 hours to complete, after which your lead data successfully syndicates to Rent Manager from Apartments.com.
