How do I send fee data to Apartments.com using Entrata?
Important: Your listings must be connected to Apartments.com before you can send fee data using Entrata. For more information on connecting your listings, refer to our article: How do I connect my listing to Apartments.com using Entrata?
If you are looking to enable fee transparency, please refer to the section below.
- Navigate to Entrata and log into your account.
The Entrata Dashboard appears.
- Select the Setup dropdown in the top navigation and then select Properties.
3. Navigate to and select the property where you want to add a concession.
The property page appears.
- Select the Pricing tab and then select Transparency.
- Select the Edit button.
Your transparency settings appear.
- Locate the Fees Include section and enable the Custom List of Charge Codes option.
- Select the Custom List of Charge Codes dropdown and check the boxes next to each fee that you would like to syndicate to Apartments.com.
- Select Save.
Entrata immediately sends your fee data to Apartments.com for verification. Apartments.com takes 24 to 48 hours to verify this information, after which your fees are successfully syndicated.
Enabling fee transparency
Contact feeds@apartments.com and include an excel spreadsheet with property names and full addresses of the properties where you would like to enable fee transparency.
Note: Alternatively, Apartments.com can enable fee transparency for your entire portfolio within 24 to 48 hours.
After your Entrata fees are syndicated, any fees manually entered in Customer Portal will be removed and replaced with syndicated fees. The following toggle in Customer Portal is enabled and your fee settings on Apartments.com will be locked.
Important: To make changes to your fees moving forward, you will need to edit them in Entrata directly.
Your listings are updated and showcase new fee transparency features on Apartments.com.
