How do I set up an occupancy report using Yardi Voyager?

Creating occupancy reports

  1. Navigate to the Yardi Voyager portal and log in to your account.

The Yardi Voyager dashboard appears.

  1. Navigate to your Residential Reports page.

Important: Depending on your role and how Voyager is set up, the Residential page may be located under a different path. Refer to the paths below for more information.

PM Role: Analytics > Operation > Residential/Property

Accounting Role: Analytics > Residential > Residential

The Residential Reports page appears.

  1. Configure your report.
    1. Select the Property field and then select which property you would like to create a report for.
    2. Select the Date field and then select the date range you would like data for.
    3. Select Unit Availability from the Report Type dropdown.
    4. Select Property from the Summarize By dropdown.
  2. Select Display to preview your report data and then select Excel to export your data.

Your occupancy report is created and downloads to your device.

  1. Navigate to your newly generated Excel file and open it.
  2. Delete all outputs columns except for the Occupancy and Leased Percentage columns.

  1. Save your changes.

Your occupancy report is finalized.

Automating occupancy reports

  1. Locate and select Report Scheduler in the left navigation.

The Report Scheduler page appears.

  1. Locate and create a Report Packet for Apartments.com.

  1. Locate and set up a Distribution Member.

  1. Locate and create a Report Scheduler Event.
  2. Check and enable the Email Address option under the Destination section.
  3. Enter aptsdatapartnerships@costar.com in the Email Address field.

  1. Select the Dates button.

The Scheduler Events Dates page appears.

  1. Enter the dates and times when you want reports to be sent to Apartments.com.

  1. Select Save.

Your occupancy report automation is enabled. Reports are delivered to Apartments.com on the dates and times you selected.
