Rently Online Scheduling Support
Overview
Enabling online scheduling support with Rently requires three components to properly integrate with Apartments.com: configuring community settings, setting up devices, and enabling self-touring. Refer to the sections below for more information.

Configuring community settings
- Navigate to the Rently portal and log in to your account.
The Rently Data Dashboard appears.
- Select the Assets dropdown and then select Communities.
Your community settings appear.
- Verify Access Info is accurate.
- Confirm Self-Showing settings are correct.
Note: These settings are typically set once and rarely need adjustment.
Setting up devices
- Select the Assets dropdown and then select Devices.
Your device settings appear.
- Assign appropriate devices (e.g., lockboxes, smart locks) to your community and/or specific units.
- Ensure both physical installation and digital assignment are complete.
Enabling self-touring
Adding a new unit
Select the Assets dropdown and then select Units.
The Units page appears.
- Select Add unit in the top-right corner of the window. A pop-up appears.
- Fill out the fields in the Basic tab, including street address, unit number, and building number.
- Fill out the fields in the Marketing tab, including price, title, description, bed/bath, and pet policy.
- Fill out the fields in the Showing tab, including access device (lockbox number or smart lock) and directions to the unit.
- Upload Unit photos.
Your unit is added.
Enabling self-touring on a unit
- Navigate to the Units page.
- Select an existing unit where you want to enable self-touring.
Unit details appear.
- Select a device from the Unit Access dropdown in the Linked Devices section.
- Select and enable the Self-Touring toggle button.
After enabling self-touring, contact onlinescheduling@apartments.com to request enabling self-guided tours on your Apartments.com listings.
After Apartments.com receives your request, the feeds team starts enabling self-guided tours. This process takes 24 to 48 hours to complete, after which your listings are successfully updated with integrated tour scheduling.
