I just signed up for an Apartments.com account. Where do I log in?
Log in here. Or go to Apartments.com, click the left navigation menu and choose the Rental Tool you'd like to start with.
What are the similarities and differences between Apartments.com and Cozy?
Both Apartments.com and Cozy have:
- Online payments (both tools use the same payment foundation)
- Applications and screening reports
- Listings
- Expense tracking
- Maintenance requests
Apartments.com has these extra features that Cozy doesn't have:
- Legal leases that are compliant with local laws, with e-signing
- Faster payments (eligible payments process in 3 business days instead of 5)
Renter's Insurance is not available on Apartments.com just yet.
Is Apartments.com like Cozy?
Yes, landlords can:
- List your rental
- Accept applications and screening reports from applicants
- Create and sign online leases
- Collect rent payments
Renters only pay $29+tax for a complete TransUnion screening reports package that are re-usable for up to 30 days. ACH payments are free and renters incur a 2.75% transaction fee if they use a debit or credit card– just like on Cozy.
Is Apartments.com right for me? I don’t manage an apartment.
Even if you don’t own or manage an apartment, Apartments.com can still be used for homes, condos, and townhomes. Currently, mobile homes and commercial properties aren't supported but we'll be releasing new features in the Apartments.com Network to make sure that you can use online rental tools too!
Why can’t I sign up as a landlord with Cozy? I need to screen applicants or collect payments.
We're eventually moving all existing Cozy users to the new Apartments.com platform. If you're not a current Cozy user, you can get started on Apartments.com to do what you’d do on Cozy like collecting payments, screening applicants, and more. Here’s the link to get started.
I use Cozy right now, but am interested in getting set up with Apartments.com.
If you're using Cozy now, your account will be automatically transitioned over to Apartments.com by mid-2021. In the meantime, your account will still look and function the same on Cozy.co. You can continue to use all of Cozy's services uninterrupted until your account is ready to transition to Apartments.com. Once your account is ready, we’ll let you know in advance and will be with you every step of the way. Your active rent collections and payment history will be be brought over to Apartments -- nothing for you or your renters to do.
Want to get set up with Apartments right now? You can set up a new account, but keep in mind that none of your active or past payments will be brought over to your new Apartments.com account.
