How do I connect my listing to Apartments.com using RentExpress?

Connecting your listing is done through a process called syndication. Syndication allows listing information to be automatically shared between RentExpress and Apartments.com. Through this connection, RentExpress sends your community details, unit information, pricing, and availability to Apartments.com. This ensures your listings remain accurate and up to date without manual updates.

Syndicating your listings

1. Navigate to the RentExpress portal and log in to your account.
2. Create or import a property.
3. Enter your listing and contact information.
4. Enable partner marketing and submit your authority-to-list information.

After you submit your information, RentExpress reviews and approves your property for syndication.

After approval, RentExpress enables the property for the partner network and routes it to the appropriate CoStar feed:

• Single-family, townhouse, condominium, and eligible small-multifamily listings go through RHP.
• Eligible apartment and multifamily communities go through MITS.

You can disable marketing at any time, which removes the property from any previously enabled feeds.

Troubleshooting

If you run into any issues, please verify the following:

• All listing IDs have been manually connected.
• The RentExpress RHP feed is also active and scheduled for regular production ingestion.
• All records pass your current ingestion requirements without warnings or holds.
• The RentExpress company/feed account is correctly associated with Apartments.com and the applicable CoStar destinations.
• Whether mutual clients need to complete any additional CoStar authorization, advertiser agreement, property mapping, or account-identification process beyond the in-app opt-in described above.
• Your normal production polling schedule and expected time before newly approved listings appear publicly.
