How do I add or update local school information on my Apartments.com Canada listing?
Listings on Apartments.com contain both public and private school information. The school attendance zones are provided by Maponics. School ratings and descriptions are provided by GreatSchools.org.
Schools that appear on your listing show because they are (1) within the assigned district borders, (2) near the property, or (3) they were manually selected to appear on the listing.
How do I add additional schools?
In the schools section of your editing dashboard, schools can be manually added. As shown below, public and private schools can be searched by education level, distance from the community, and rating. Selecting the green plus sign (+) icon in the far right column will add the school to the listing. If there is a specific school that you were unable to locate in your search results, report it to GreatSchools.org.
How do I remove a school?
Scroll to the bottom of the screen to see the actual schools that are already assigned to the listing. Selecting the red trash can icon will remove a particular school from the listing. After you have completed the changes, select Save Changes in the lower right corner of the screen.
