How do I opt in to Apartments.com rental listing syndication using Beaches MLS?

Overview

Beaches MLS uses two different MLS systems for syndicating rental listings: FlexMLS and Matrix. Refer to the sections below for more information on syndicating your rental listings depending on which system you use.

  1. Navigate to the FlexMLS portal and log in to your account.

The FlexMLS dashboard appears.

  1. Select Menu, Preferences, and then select Broker Distribution.

Your broker distribution preferences appear.

  1. Select the checkbox under the Enable Feed column on the Apartments.com row.

Note: Additionally, you can enable whether listings are sent to Apartments.com by default or whether the agent can override.

  1. Select Save when you are finished editing your preferences.

Your listing information is sent to Apartments.com for verification. This process takes 24 to 48 hours to complete, after which your rental listings successfully syndicate. Disable the Apartments.com checkbox under the Enable Feed column to remove your rental listings from Apartments.com at any time.

Enabling syndication using Matrix

  1. Navigate to the Beaches client portal and log in to your account.

The Beaches dashboard appears.

  1. Select the Input (Add/Edit) tab in the top navigation.

The Input page appears.

  1. Locate the Office section and enter your Office MLSID under Quick Modify. Select Edit after you've entered your MLSID.

The Modify Office page appears.

  1. Locate the Select Form section and select the Office Syndication and Advertising link.

The Office Syndication and Advertising page appears.

  1. Locate the Send listings by default to: section and enable the Apartments.com checkbox.

Note: When entering a listing, an agent can provide blanket permission to all MLS users that they can advertise their listing without requesting further authorization. If you do not want your agents to have access to this feature, select No under the Allow Agents to manage Any Broker Advertise dropdown.

  1. Select the Submit Office button.
